Dr. Leeroy Lente

Dr. Leeroy Lente

Veterinarian

Dr. Leeroy Lente was born and raised in New Mexico, where he grew up working with beef cattle and Quarter Horses. Inspired by the hard work he witnessed at community cattle ranges and livestock auctions, he developed a strong appreciation for the human–animal bond and a calling to veterinary medicine.

He earned his Bachelor’s in Animal Science in 2019 and a Master’s in Ruminant Nutrition at Colorado State University in 2022. While in graduate school, he apprenticed as a farrier, which sparked his interest in equine lameness and therapeutic shoeing. He went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from CSU in 2024, focusing on equine sports medicine.

Dr. Lente has practiced in Scottsdale, Arizona, with special interests in sports medicine, lameness, performance health, and dentistry. With a background in both ruminant nutrition and equine medicine, he offers a well-rounded approach to advanced care, diagnostics, and rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Dr. Lente is an avid runner, marathoner, and ultramarathon finisher. He also enjoys live music, disc golf, snowboarding, and western horseback riding.

Dr. Cassandra

Dr. Cassandra Ciarletta

Veterinarian

Dr. Cassandra Ciarletta is a proud graduate of Colorado State University, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ciarletta loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s walking, hiking, paddleboarding, or kayaking. She also enjoys gardening, tackling DIY projects, and caring for her many plants. Her loyal dog, Callie, is always nearby, “helping” or playfully judging her projects. Most of all, Dr. Ciarletta treasures time spent with her family and friends.

Amanda McDaniel

Practice Manager

Amanda grew up right here in Colorado and has always had a passion for animals. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute and has since dedicated her career to veterinary medicine and client care. As our Practice Manager, Amanda works hard to ensure both our team and our clients feel supported every step of the way.

Outside of the clinic, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her favorite football team, and relaxing with a good book. At home, she has a lively crew of pets—three dogs, two cats, a flock of chickens, and even a tortoise (who proudly holds the title of slowest but most loyal family member).

Savannah

Savannah

Veterinary Technician

Savannah was born and raised in Ogden, Utah, and has been passionate about animals of all sizes from a young age. She began her career in veterinary medicine in 2020 at a small clinic in Ogden and is now pursuing her dream of one day becoming a veterinarian, with special interests in large animals and reproduction.

At home, Savannah’s life is filled with pets—three family Mini Schnauzers (Maggie, Piper, and Reese), her own Border Collie (Ace), two cats (Cinder and Gremlin), and a new Mini Dachshund (Rusty) she shares with her fiancé.

In her free time, Savannah loves training her dog, spending time outdoors, and enjoying activities like swimming, skiing, golfing, and horseback riding. Her dedication and enthusiasm make her an invaluable part of the Country Haven team.

Isabella Nettuno

Veterinary Assistant

Isabella is a compassionate and hardworking member of the Country Haven team. She is currently attending veterinary technician school and is dedicated to earning her degree while gaining hands-on experience in the clinic.

At home, Isabella’s heart is full thanks to her cat, dog, and a playful ferret named Kiwi. Outside of work, she enjoys paddleboarding, spending time outdoors, and being with her family. Clients and pets alike love Isabella’s kind nature and her gentle approach to care.

Candice Bennett

Candice has been working in veterinary medicine for five years and has been part of the Country Haven team for the past three. As a Client Services Representative, she loves being the welcoming voice that helps connect clients and their pets with the care they need.

When she’s not at the clinic, Candice enjoys riding her e-bike, hiking, reading, and soaking up the beautiful Colorado outdoors. Most of all, she loves spending time with her family and her own pets, two sweet cats and a dog.
